I hope your summer is off to a good start, full of both ministry and rest. Read a good book, spend time with your family, and get to know your neighbors.
If you want to see some of my takeaways from last week’s SBC in Indy, you can read them here.
Here is someone to know about – Jon & Kate Cordova
Jon & Kate are married and members of one of our church plants – Beautiful Church in Evanston. They also serve with a ministry called Decision Point, a parachurch organization dedicated to proclaiming the gospel to the next generation. They both joined the ministry working part-time while attending Moody Bible Institute (Jon graduated in 2020, Kate in 2021), and have since been able to help students all across the Chicagoland area hear about Jesus in their public schools. They have a huge heart for seeing unity between churches, all for the sake of the kingdom advancing here, helping organize and coordinate the Roots Conference in partnership with Inner City Impact and other like-minded churches across the city and suburbs! They are always happy to connect with churches who are looking for ways to activate their youth in evangelism and discipleship. Feel free to reach out to them if you are interested in hearing more about what God is doing in their ministry and how you can get involved.
