Things to Know (September)
It’s been about a year since the revitalization of this local association began. We hope you’ve noticed a difference and found it useful. We’re all about facilitating relationships. We do this by telling stories, communicating information, and organizing events to get people together and see what happens for the gospel in our city when we don’t stay isolated. If you find value in being part of this and your church hasn’t given a donation for a while, it would be greatly appreciated. You can do that here. If you have never formally affiliated, we’d love for you to officially become a part of us. You can start that process here. And if you have any ideas of ways that the association can serve you and your church, please let us know!
Here is someone to know about – Dr. Bryan Price.
In 2003, Bryan planted Love Fellowship Baptist Church in Romeoville where he currently serves as senior pastor. Bryan also serves as the Zone 1 Church Consultant for IBSA and teaches on occasion as an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University. He earned his B.A. in Business Management from Benedictine University, his M.A. in Biblical Studies from Wheaton College Graduate School, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Dallas Baptist University. Bryan is passionate about preaching God’s Word, shepherding God’s people, and pouring into pastors. His burden is the heath and strength of the local church and its leaders. Two verses that continue to stir his call are Colossians 1:28-29 and 1 Thessalonians 2:8:
“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.”
“We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.”
Bryan has been married to his wife Traci for 31 years. They have four adult children, Bryan Jr., Trecia, Brenton, and Treyanna.
If there’s anything he can do to help you and your church in the areas of health, growth, or mission, he’d love to hear from you! bryanprice@ibsa.org
